Compared to last week, breaker and boning slaughter cows gauging 1.00 higher, with lean cows 2.00 to 3.00 lower, and slaughter bulls mostly steady. No comparisons available for feeder classes due to limited comparable receipts, however, a higher undertone was noted for heifers and a lower undertone noted for bulls.
Supply included: 63% Feeder Cattle (15% Steers, 52% Heifers, 32% Bulls); 33% Slaughter Cattle (83% Cows, 15% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 4% Replacement Cattle (67% Bred Cows, 33% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 26%.
