Compared to last week, feeder cattle were mostly 4.00-8.00 lower. Demand was moderate at best with buyers showing the strongest interest in long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned cattle. Slaughter cows were mostly 2.00-4.00 lower, and slaughter bulls mostly steady to 2.00 lower.

Supply included: 77% Feeder Cattle (28% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 48% Heifers, 24% Bulls); 18% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 6% Replacement Cattle (48% Bred Cows, 2% Bred Heifers, 45% Cow-Calf Pairs, 4% Heifer Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 24%.
