Compared to last week, feeder steers were mostly 3.00-5.00 higher; feeder heifers were unevenly steady with instances of 5.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good for feeder classes with the best demand continuing to be for long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned steers and heifers. Slaughter cows were mostly steady to 3.00 higher, and slaughter bulls mostly steady to 2.00 higher with demand for slaughter classes moderate to good.

Supply included: 75% Feeder Cattle (30% Steers, 49% Heifers, 22% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 9% Replacement Cattle (2% Stock Cows, 48% Bred Cows, 5% Bred Heifers, 42% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 22%.
