Feeder heifers under 600 lbs were mostly steady to 4.00 higher; over 600 lbs were 5.00 higher with instances sharply higher. Long-weaned, preconditioned feeder cattle saw the most increase in price and demand. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly 1.00-2.00 lower with moderate demand.
Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (33% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 50% Heifers, 17% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 12% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (2% Stock Cows, 49% Bred Cows, 12% Bred Heifers, 33% Cow-Calf Pairs, 2% Heifer Pairs, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 32%.
