Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were mostly 5.00-7.00 higher with instances sharply higher with very good demand throughout the week. Buyers are showing significant interest in long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned cattle. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly 3.00-4.00 higher with very good demand.

Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 44% Heifers, 14% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 8% Replacement Cattle (1% Stock Cows, 58% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 28% Cow-Calf Pairs, 5% Heifer Pairs, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 41%.
