Compared to last week, feeder steers were mostly steady to 2.00 higher, and feeder heifers were mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good for feeder classes, with buyers showing the most interest in weaned and preconditioned cattle. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady to 1.00 higher with moderate demand.

Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (33% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 46% Heifers, 21% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 55% Bred Cows, 17% Bred Heifers, 20% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Heifer Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 35%.
