Compared to last week, feeder steers were mixed with most trades being unevenly steady with a lower undertone. Feeder heifers were mostly 1.00-3.00 higher. Feeder classes were in mostly moderate demand throughout the week, with buyers showing keen interest in preconditioned cattle. Slaughter cows were mostly steady to 2.00 lower, and slaughter bulls were mostly steady as slaughter classes were in moderate demand.

Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (25% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 55% Heifers, 19% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (1% Stock Cows, 44% Bred Cows, 14% Bred Heifers, 38% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Heifer Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 22%.
