Compared to last week, feeder steers were unevenly steady with instances of 2.00 higher to 2.00 lower, and feeder heifers were mostly steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder classes were in good demand throughout the week, especially for preconditioned groups of cattle. Slaughter cows were mostly steady to 4.00 higher, while slaughter bulls were 4.00-7.00 higher with very good demand for slaughter classes.

Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (32% Steers, 50% Heifers, 18% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (68% Bred Cows, 5% Bred Heifers, 18% Cow-Calf Pairs, 9% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 35%.
