Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were mostly 2.00-4.00 higher with good demand although livestock movement was hampered in some areas due to winter weather. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly 2.00-4.00 higher with good to very good demand.

Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (34% Steers, 47% Heifers, 19% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (3% Stock Cows, 63% Bred Cows, 6% Bred Heifers, 24% Cow-Calf Pairs, 2% Heifer Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 35%.
