Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were mostly 4.00-5.00 lower overall with buyers showing the strongest interest in longweaned (45+ days), preconditioned feeder cattle. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly steady to 3.00 lower with mostly moderate demand.

Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 43% Heifers, 21% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (83% Cows, 17% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (2% Stock Cows, 74% Bred Cows, 5% Bred Heifers, 14% Cow-Calf Pairs, 4% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 37%.
