Compared to last week’s lighter test, feeder steers under 700 lbs were mostly 3.00-5.00 higher, with steers over 700 lbs unevenly steady. Feeder heifers were mostly 3.00-6.00 higher. Feeder cattle were in mostly good to very good demand, with buyers showing the most interest in long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned cattle. Slaughter cows were mostly 1.00-3.00 lower, and slaughter bulls mostly 2.00-4.00 lower.

Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (44% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 42% Heifers, 14% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 10% Slaughter Cattle (0% Heifers, 87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (6% Stock Cows, 60% Bred Cows, 4% Bred Heifers, 30% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 45%.
