Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 2.00 to 3.00 higher with slaughter heifers 2.00 to 4.00 higher with higher packer inquiry this week. No Holstein slaughter steers today, Cows were 2.00 to 3.00 higher with bulls 1.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers were sharply higher this week with some good groups of value added steers and heifers and feeder bulls 1.00 lower with lighter numbers offered.

Supply included: 39% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 53% Heifers, 5% Bulls); 61% Slaughter Cattle (52% Steers, 27% Heifers, 16% Cows, 5% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 33%.
