Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 to 3.00 higher and slaughter heifers 2.00 to 3.00 higher with a good offering of higher quality steers and heifers today. Holstein slaughter steers were 3.00 lower this week. Cows were 2.00 to 4.00 higher and bulls 2.00 to 7.00 higher with a good offering of high dressing bulls today. Feeder steers were 8.00 lower and feeder heifers and bulls had instances of higher/lower with higher prices on preconditioned groups of heifers and bulls.

Supply included: 38% Feeder Cattle (8% Steers, 63% Heifers, 29% Bulls); 61% Slaughter Cattle (29% Steers, 5% Dairy Steers, 33% Heifers, 25% Cows, 8% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (80% Bred Cows, 20% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
