Compared to last week slaughter steers were 3.00 to 8.00 higher with slaughter heifers were 2.00 to 4,00 higher with better packer bids today. Holstein slaughter steers were 1.00 to 3.00 lower this week. Cows were 1.00 to 2.00 higher with bulls 1.00 higher. Feeder steers were 1.00 higher and feeder heifers with instances of higher/lower and feeder bulls trending higher with active buyer participation today.

Supply included: 27% Feeder Cattle (24% Steers, 46% Heifers, 30% Bulls); 73% Slaughter Cattle (52% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 18% Heifers, 21% Cows, 5% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 45%.
