Compared to last week slaughter steers were 1.00 higher with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 2.00 higher with better packer bids this week. No comparison on Holstein slaughter today. Cows were 1.00 to 2.00 higher with bulls 1.00 lower. All classes of feeder cattle had instances of higher/lower, but valve added and fancy feeders were at a very good value and a good offering of feeders this week.

Supply included: 46% Feeder Cattle (35% Steers, 50% Heifers, 15% Bulls); 54% Slaughter Cattle (34% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 18% Cows, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 48%.
