Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 to 3.00 lower and slaughter heifers 1.00 to 2.00 lower this week. Holstein slaughter steers were 2.00 to 3.00 higher today. Cows were 1.00 to 2.00 higher and bulls 3.00 to 8.00 higher with high dressing cows and bulls at a higher value. Feeder steers were significantly higher with feeder heifers and bulls instances of higher/lower with fancy and value added feeders selling for higher prices.

Supply included: 28% Feeder Cattle (22% Steers, 47% Heifers, 31% Bulls); 72% Slaughter Cattle (36% Steers, 3% Dairy Steers, 25% Heifers, 33% Cows, 4% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 16%.
