Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers had instances of higher/lower but higher value on prime steers and heifers with a good offering and active buyer bidding. Holstein slaughter steers were trending lower today. Cows had instances of higher/lower and bulls sharply lower this week. Feeder steers were trending lower with feeder heifers sharply lower and feeder bulls mostly steady to stronger.

Supply included: 32% Feeder Cattle (29% Steers, 30% Heifers, 42% Bulls); 68% Slaughter Cattle (46% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 27% Heifers, 18% Cows, 4% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers, 1% Bullocks). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 38%.
