Compared to last week, not enough feeder steers 700 lb to 950 lb for a market test, however a lower trend was noted. Three part loads of fancy steers sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Steers 550 lb to 700 lb sold steady to 4.00 higher. Not enough steer calves 400 lb to 550 lb for a market test, however a lower trend was noted. Not enough heifers 600 lb to 800 lb for a market test, however a higher trend was noted. Not enough heifer calves 400 lb to 600 lb for a market test, however a lower trend was noted. Demand was moderate. Slaughter cows sold 7.00 to 9.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold steady.
Supply included: 67% Feeder Cattle (37% Steers, 54% Heifers, 9% Bulls); 31% Slaughter Cattle (98% Cows, 2% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (35% Stock Cows, 65% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 41%.
