Compared to last week, feeder steers 700 lb to 950 lb sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher. No recent comparison on steers weighing 950 to 1100 lb, however a higher trend was noted. Steer calves 500 lb to 700 lb sold 8.00 to 9.00 higher. Feeder heifers 700 lb to 925 lb sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Heifer calves 500 lb to 700 lb sold 4.00 to 6.00 lower. Demand was good. Slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold 4.00 lower.

Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (44% Steers, 56% Heifers); 18% Slaughter Cattle (96% Cows, 4% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (48% Bred Cows, 14% Bred Heifers, 38% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 89%.
