Compared to last week, feeder steers 700 lb to 850 lb sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher. Steers 450 lb to 700 lb sold steady with light receipts. Heifers 500 lb to 900 lb sold 4.00 to 5.00 higher with some 6 wts advancing up to 9.00 higher. Demand was good. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 5.00 higher.
Supply included: 90% Feeder Cattle (40% Steers, 59% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 80%.
