Compared to last week, feeder steers overall sold 1.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder heifers overall sold steady to 2.00 lower, with the exception of 600 to 700 lbs selling 1.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold uneven; breakers and boners 1.00 to 2.00 lower, leans 4.00 to 5.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower. Demand overall was good. Compared to last week, fed slaughter steers and heifers in the feedyards sold steady at 157.00. In the hay market, demand remained strong, prices remained mostly steady, but actual trades were down in most regions last week.

Supply included: 95% Feeder Cattle (57% Steers, 43% Heifers, 0% Bulls); 5% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls); 0% Replacement Cattle (87% Stock Cows, 13% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 70%.
