Compared to last week, feeder steers under 700 lbs sold 8.00 to 13.00 lower; over 700 lbs sold 1.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs sold 6.00 to 11.00 lower; 600 to 700 lbs steady to 1.00 lower; over 700 lbs 4.00 to 9.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold 5.00 to 6.00 lower. Demand overall was moderate to good. Compared to last week, fed slaughter steers and heifers in the feedyards sold 1.00 higher at 142.00. The hay market remained mostly steady on good demand.

Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (56% Steers, 43% Heifers, 0% Bulls); 8% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (77% Bred Cows, 10% Bred Heifers, 13% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 65%.
