Compared to last week, feeder steers under 500 lbs sold 2.00 to 3.00 higer; 500 to 700 lbs 7.00 to 9.00 lower; over 700 lbs 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder heifers overall sold 5.00 to 9.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Demand was moderate. Compared to last week, fed slaughter steers and heifers in the feedyards sold 2.00 lower at 138.00. Compared to the last report, overall alfalfa hay and grass hay were mostly steady while movement remains slow.

Supply included: 89% Feeder Cattle (51% Steers, 48% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (9% Bred Cows, 91% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 88%.
