Compared to last week, feeder steers weighing less than 700 lbs sold steady to 3.00 lower, while those weighing over 700 lbs sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers overall sold steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good. Compared to last week, Fed Slaughter Steers and Heifers in the feedyards sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher at 137.00. Hay market prices remained steady for alfalfa and grass hay; movement remains slow.

Supply included: 84% Feeder Cattle (55% Steers, 45% Heifers, 0% Bulls); 5% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 11% Replacement Cattle (2% Stock Cows, 73% Bred Cows, 17% Bred Heifers, 7% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 77%.
