Compared to last week, feeder steers under 700 lbs sold 8.00 to 9.00 lower; over 700 lbs sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower; over 600 lbs sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold unveven; breakers sold firm, while boners and leans sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good. Compared to last week, fed slaughter steers and heifers in the feedyards sold 2.00 higher at 140.00. Compared to the last report, overall alfalfa hay and grass hay were mostly steady while movement remains slow.

Supply included: 90% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 55% Heifers, 0% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (17% Bred Cows, 2% Bred Heifers, 79% Cow-Calf Pairs, 2% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 81%.
