Compared to last week there was a light test on steers under 600 lbs however a lower undertone was noted, 600 to 700 lb steers sold 3.00 to 6.00 lower, 700 to 800 lb steers sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher, and steers over 800 lbs sold steady to 4.00 lower. Heifers under 650 lbs there was not enough for a good test, Heifers over 650 lbs sold steady to 2.00 higher. The demand was good for quality cattle coming off grass. The supply was moderate.
