Compared to last week: Feeder steers weighing 600 to 800 lbs. steady to 2.00 higher, over 800 lbs. 4.00 to 6.00 higher. Feeder heifers 600 to 700 lbs. steady to 5.00 lower, over 700 lbs. 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves 2.00 to 3.00 higher on a limited test. Quality fair to attractive with good demand. Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00-2.00 lower. Packer demand moderate. A total of 154 cows and bulls sold with 83 percent going to packers.
Supply included: 92% Feeder Cattle (52% Steers, 41% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (80% Cows, 20% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 71%.
