Compared to last week: Feeder steers and feeder heifers 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Steer and heifer calves 5.00 to 9.00 lower. Quality fair to attractive with moderate demand. Slaughter cows mostly steady. Slaughter bulls 3.00 higher. A total of 187 cows and bulls sold with 71 percent going to packers.
Supply included: 94% Feeder Cattle (63% Steers, 35% Heifers, 2% Bulls); 4% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (97% Bred Cows, 3% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 67%.
