Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded mostly steady. Trade activity was moderate on moderate to good demand. The drought continues with no relief in the forecast.

Supply included: 74% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 53% Heifers, 3% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers); 21% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (33% Stock Cows, 51% Bred Cows, 15% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 57%.
