Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold unevenly steady, as the gap widens between fleshy unweaned calves and their preconditioned counter parts. Trade was fairly active on moderate to good demand.

Supply included: 87% Feeder Cattle (58% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 39% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (93% Cows, 7% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (65% Stock Cows, 30% Bred Cows, 5% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 63%.
