Compared to last week steer and heifer calves and yearlings steady to 2.00 lower. Higher yielding slaughter cows steady, thin and low yielding cows weak to 2.00 lower; slaughter bulls steady. Stock cows and pairs steady in light test. Trading and demand moderate. Quality not as attractive as last week.
Supply included: 61% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 49% Heifers, 9% Bulls); 24% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 15% Replacement Cattle (88% Stock Cows, 8% Bred Cows, 3% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17%.
