Compared to last week steer and heifer calves under 500 lbs fully 3.00-5.00 higher, heavier weight calves and yearlings firm to 1.00 higher. Slaughter cows firm to 2.00 higher with advance on heavier, high dressing cows. Slaughter bulls steady in light test. Stock cows and pairs firm. Trading fairly active, demand good. Quality more attractive than past several weeks. Report does not include numerous light calves split off cows and sold by the head.

Supply included: 68% Feeder Cattle (59% Steers, 41% Heifers); 20% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls); 12% Replacement Cattle (89% Stock Cows, 10% Bred Cows, 1% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 19%.
