Compared to last week steer and heifer calves and yearlings weak to 2.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady; slaughter bulls 1.00-2.00 higher. Stock cows and pairs steady. Trading and demand moderate. Conditions remain extremely dry throughout the area. Several places have run out of stock water.
Supply included: 71% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 51% Heifers, 4% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 13% Bulls); 20% Replacement Cattle (22% Stock Cows, 57% Bred Cows, 16% Bred Heifers, 5% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 43%.
