That was shared 51 times when I posted this Thursday morning.  I predict that will be shared 200 times by the time it's done on Facebook because it's the kind of thing that makes ag people feel good about themselves.

The problem is it isn't true.

That's not how cutout works.  If it were then your feeder calves would be selling for something in the $4/lb range if not higher.

Don't share that stuff.

Your auction is doomed anyway if you have to lie to your buyers about what they are getting.

Want to know the actual value of a cutout carcass?  There's a well established tool for that...
