Compared to two weeks ago 500-700 lbs steers sold steady to 3.00 higher on a light test, the rest of the offering sold steady to 4.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 higher, bulls not tested; Demand uneven and supply light.
Supply included: 90% Feeder Cattle (32% Steers, 45% Heifers, 23% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (43% Bred Cows, 57% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 22%.
