Compared to last week, steer calves traded steady to 4.00 higher with spots 8.00 higher on 5 and 6 weight calves. Yearling steers traded steady to firm. Heifer calves traded steady to 4.00 lower. Demand was moderate on a moderate supply which included several larger drafts of calves and yearlings. Receipts were closer to average, for this time of year, as warmer temperatures and sunshine have dried out roads and barnyards.
