Compared to the last reported sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold steady to spots 5.00 higher. Some bigger groups of long weaned calves in very attractive condition were offered which made for an active market. Demand was moderate to very good for a moderate supply with the thinner grazing calves seeing the best demand. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady.

Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 52% Heifers, 6% Bulls); 10% Slaughter Cattle (84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (58% Stock Cows, 8% Bred Cows, 33% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 24%.
