Compared to last week, steers weighing 400-600 lbs traded 5.00-10.00 higher with spots up to 15.00 higher, heavier weights steady to 3.00 higher. Heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher when compared to last weeks light test, but those under 400 lbs traded with a sharply higher undertone. Demand was good with several attractive consignments of grass cattle and some heavier yearlings offered. Supply was moderate. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady.

Supply included: 89% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 47% Heifers, 6% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (97% Cows, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 37%.
