Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher except for heifer calves weighing 450-475 lbs trading up to 10.00 higher. Demand was good for several large groups of reputation home raised cattle offered that made for an active market. Supply was moderate to heavy. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-4.00 lower except for lean cows and bulls trading steady.

Supply included: 93% Feeder Cattle (55% Steers, 42% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (82% Cows, 18% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 46%.
