Compared to two weeks ago, the bulk of the steers traded firm to 7.00 higher except for some fancy 500-550 lb steers trading 10.00 to spots 15.00 higher. Heifers traded steady except for the girl side of a large consignment of home-raised all black fancy cattle trading with a higher undertone. Demand was moderate to good, best for the high quality cattle. Supply was moderate despite the heat with some long weaned reputation consignments offered. Slaughter cows sold steady.

Supply included: 78% Feeder Cattle (47% Steers, 44% Heifers, 8% Bulls); 22% Slaughter Cattle (80% Cows, 20% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 44%.
