Compared to two weeks ago, steer calves weighing 400-700 lbs sold steady, with over 700 lbs lightly tested. Feeder heifers weighing 400-550 lbs sold steady to 4.00 higher, with 550-600 lbs trading mostly steady on comparable sales, 600-650 lb heifers were not well tested but sold with a firm to higher undertone with a pot load of 650 lb heifers selling 2.00 higher than the pot load lots from two weeks ago over 700 lbs were not tested. Slaughter cows traded steady. Demand was moderate to good on a moderate supply. More new crop calves in the offering this week than two weeks ago weighing 400-600 lbs with the best demand on the 550-700 lb steers and 600-650 lb heifers.

Supply included: 93% Feeder Cattle (54% Steers, 45% Heifers, 0% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 58%.
