Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves sold 15.00-20.00 higher on comparable sales. Feeder steers and heifers not well tested. Trade was very active. Demand was very good on a good quality of offerings. Slaughter cows and bulls mostly steady.
Supply included: 67% Feeder Cattle (52% Steers, 48% Heifers); 26% Slaughter Cattle (85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 8% Replacement Cattle (57% Bred Cows, 43% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
