Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves sold 4.00-8.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers mostly steady on comparable sales. Slaughter cows and bulls 1.00-2.00 higher. Trade moderate demand good.
Supply included: 49% Feeder Cattle (50% Steers, 40% Heifers, 10% Bulls); 36% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls); 15% Replacement Cattle (39% Bred Cows, 61% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 21%.
