Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves sold 4.00-5.00 lower. Feeder steer and heifer calves were not well tested. Trade and demand moderate. Slaughter cows and bulls traded steady.
Supply included: 56% Feeder Cattle (54% Steers, 44% Heifers, 2% Bulls); 27% Slaughter Cattle (80% Cows, 20% Bulls); 17% Replacement Cattle (29% Bred Cows, 48% Cow-Calf Pairs, 24% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 26%.
