Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves sold sharply lower on a very limited test. Feeder steer and heifers were not well tested. Trade slow to moderate, demand low to moderated. Quality plain to average. Slaughter cows and bulls traded steady.
Supply included: 59% Feeder Cattle (59% Steers, 39% Heifers, 2% Bulls); 25% Slaughter Cattle (66% Cows, 34% Bulls); 16% Replacement Cattle (51% Bred Cows, 49% CowCalf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 27%.
