Compared to last week: There was not enough comparable data to call an accurate trend on feeder steers, but a higher undertone was noted. Feeder heifers sold mostly 2.00 to 6.00 higher, and feeder bulls sold 2.00 to 11.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 4.00 to 5.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold 5.00 to 6.00 higher. Quality was mostly average and demand was very good.

Supply included: 73% Feeder Cattle (13% Steers, 44% Heifers, 43% Bulls); 17% Slaughter Cattle (76% Cows, 24% Bulls); 9% Replacement Cattle (6% Bred Cows, 32% Bred Heifers, 61% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 30%.
