Compared to last week slaughter cows were steady to 3 lower. Bulls mostly steady. Feeder steers sold mixed 4 higher to 2 lower with light calves making gains. Heifers were higher 2- 5. Bull calves were lower 3-6.
Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (39% Steers, 45% Heifers, 15% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (16% Stock Cows, 68% Bred Cows, 16% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 23%.
