Compared to last week feeder steers sold higher $6-12. Heifers were higher $2-10. Slaughter cows sold steady to higher $2. Bulls were steady. Lighter receipts this week but demand was good.
Supply included: 78% Feeder Cattle (27% Steers, 42% Heifers, 31% Bulls); 15% Slaughter Cattle (80% Cows, 20% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (6% Stock Cows, 85% Bred Cows, 9% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 14%.
