Compared to two weeks ago slaughter cows were higher 1-2. Bulls sold steady. Feeder steers were higher 6-10. Feeder heifers sold higher 512. Value added cattle did very well.
Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 36% Heifers, 15% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (22% Stock Cows, 70% Bred Cows, 7% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 29%.
