Market Notes
Compared to last week slaughter cows sold higher 3-4. Bulls were steady. Feeder steers sold 2-4 higher. Heifers were 2-5 lower. Groups of value added calves sold as much as 8 higher.
Supply included: 72% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 44% Heifers, 14% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 12% Replacement Cattle (9% Stock Cows, 30% Bred Cows, 57% Cow-Calf Pairs, 5% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17%.
