Market Notes

Compared to last week feeder steers sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder heifers sold steady to 2.00 lower. There was moderate demand for feeder classes. However strongest demand was noted for weaned and pre-conditioned feeder classes. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower. There was moderate demand for slaughter classes.

Supply included: 95% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 40% Heifers, 13% Bulls); 5% Slaughter Cattle (93% Cows, 8% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 60%.
